Arnhem, a 1% for the Planet business member partners with Take 3 for the Sea, Green Fleet, and Rainforest Rescue to do their part in giving back and protecting the environment. By donating to Rainforest Rescue, Arnhem is able to offset part of their carbon footprint from shipping and production and contribute to protecting rainforests in need.
To date, through their partnerships, the company has sponsored the planting of 8,719 trees.
Rainforest Rescue is on a mission to save the Daintree Rainforest, the biggest rainforest in Australia. To do this, they aim to buy all of the remaining threatened properties within the forest by 2040. The rainforest has been evolving and growing for 180 million years, and is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet. By buying back and restoring these areas, Rainforest Rescue is restoring habitats, managing threats to biodiversity, contributing to research, restoring habitat connectivity, and protecting vital resources for future generations.
