LOVE BRAND & Co is a British luxury men’s swimwear company committed to saving elephants. Founded in 2010 by Oliver Tomalin, the brand combines his passion for summer lifestyle with his desire to build a brand that holds a greater purpose to help protect the natural world. He dedicated the company to helping conserve wild elephants and since day one LOVE BRAND & CO. have donated a percentage of their revenue – not profits – to wildlife conservation charities around the world. They call their mission ‘Trunks for Trunks’ – swimming trunks saving elephants!
In 2020, having been inspired by the model that has been incredibly successful for other larger companies admired by Oliver, LOVE BRAND & Co became a 1% for the Planet member. 1% is a number that will enable LOVE BRAND to focus and scale up and ultimately make the most positive impact to help elephants and other endangered species. This is a promise that Oliver and his brand have never wavered from. The decision was also taken to support only one charity each year through 1% for the Planet, and in 2020 the company is proudly supporting the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and their incredible Orphans’ Project.
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust supports elephant conservation in a myriad of different ways, from their wildly successful Orphan’s Project to engaging in community outreach and their anti-poaching aerial surveillance. Their mission is to protect all of Kenya’s wildlife and the ecosystems that support all of the amazing animal species. Thanks to partners such as LOVE BRAND & Co, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust can continue and expand their work of protecting and preserving Kenya’s wildlife and habitats.
