Bigger than Bread

Arnold, Brownberry, and Oroweat Organic are working with SeedMoney to put together Food Garden Grants of $5,000 for communities to fund public food gardens. This is a way for the bread makers to foster communities which are environmentally minded, and sustainable in nature. This is just one of the ways which they give back and do their part to be sustainable. Reducing the impact of their operations on the planet by offsetting 100% of the energy they use with renewable wind energy, using alternative fuel bread delivery vehicles, efficient machinery, and recycling further show their commitment to environmental friendliness. Their ability to produce such high quality bread in a sustainable way is partly due to their humble beginnings. All three brands started on a small scale, with a little bakery grocery store hybrid, a backyard bakery, and a delivery truck. All three have always been committed to high quality with no added nonsense.
