Breast Cancer Prevention Partners works to prevent breast cancer by eliminating human exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation linked to the disease. To address their mission to support safe consumer products, Klean Kanteen partners with BCPP to advance their efforts in prevention and education.
BCPP has published 33 major scientific studies and reports and secured the passing of the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act. In raising awareness and pushing for change, the nonprofit was able to pass 11 chemical safety laws removing phthalates from children’s toys and banning BPA in a number of consumer products, as well as help 13 states enact BPA bans. The partnership between Klean Kanteen and BCPP is helping prevent breast cancer by finding and implementing real-life solutions, and educating consumers on how to make safe choices for themselves and their families.
